Prepare to Dance

Visiting Lake Atitlan in Guatemala in July of 2023 the children at the school in the small village of San Jorge La Laguna prepared to dance for the missionary group I was working with there.     Such a wonderful Mayan culture shared by these children at this moment I didnt know what to expect next but it was a treasure!    The girl was swinging the pot of incense having a lot of fun with it as it swayed back and forth!    The beautiful exquisite hand-crafted clothes.    The music and dance was delightful I wish you could see and hear it, but I feel so much emotion looking at this painting and thinking of that day!
