Goldsmith Ladies in the Bois de Boulonge in 1897 on a Peugot Cart d'apres J.L. Stewart

Julius LeBlanc Stewart painted the original of this piece circa 1900 an I re-did the image for the annual Foothills Art Association Old Masters competition in February 2022.    I changed the piece by altering the dog to match my sons dog which was very similar to the original one with changes to the coloring.    This piece portrays the excitement and probably rare occurence of ladies operating a motor vehicle in the late 1900s.
